Have to agree with Sameer about posterous, which I started using recently as a space between the micro of Twitter and my macroblog on TypePad. I'll definitely follow this new venture. I just started using it and was impressed that I don't have to leave my existing services behind - they can post to all of those while you keep on posting the stuff you want to post through "email". They have a bookmarket as well where you can post links. Have you checked out posterous.com?
